SHIPPING



We make all our products to order in our UK workshop; we don't carry any stock other than pieces listed as "ready to ship".


Our lead time is approximately 8-10 weeks for manufacturing, and the delivery typically takes two weeks from completion. Some products are in stock and will arrive faster. The product's availability is indicated on our product page.

Please read these delivery service guidelines in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions. Note that these are guideline delivery prices.

The precise cost of a furniture delivery is automatically calculated at the checkout. It is worked out based on the area we deliver to and the total weight and value of the items purchased. 

DELIVERY METHOD ORDER VALUE

Accessories will be shipped using a courier such as UPS or Hermes, and the shipping charges will be a fixed amount based on the above order value.


Small to medium furniture items will be delivered with standard one-person doorstep delivery. The driver will be on his own and will not carry the items onto the premises. Therefore, we recommend more oversized items, such as blanket boxes, dining tables and larger benches, to request a 2-man delivery service (contact us prior to ordering).

Your order will be delivered to the address you supply us with when placing your order with us. 


Martelo and Mo will do their best to dispatch all orders within the lead time given. However, these cannot be guaranteed. Particular order or bespoke items may take longer, and production problems or delays cannot be foreseen.
Please note that it may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations, so if you feel your area is not covered in the above table, contact us for further assistance.


The customer's responsibility is to check the access to their property and ensure that the item purchased will fit through all doorways, stairwells, and the area of intended use.


Be aware that the goods are the customer's responsibility from the point that we attempt to deliver them, and the customer must accept the goods when they are ready to be delivered.


The customer does not comply with our attempts to deliver. We reserve the right to cancel the entire or part of the order and charge the customer costs to cover the goods' storage, delivery, shipping, and insurance.


Martelo and Mo will retain full ownership until such time that the goods have been paid in full.


Please note that we cannot change an order or item after it has been entered into production.

All goods imported are subject to Customs Duty and Taxes. This includes goods bought over the Internet.

RETURNS


 
We hope you love your Martelo and Mo piece of furniture.

Although if you would like to return your purchase, we are happy to provide a refund or exchange for goods still in their original packaging and an entirely re-saleable condition 14 days after receiving your product (restrictions apply, please see our terms and conditions).


This applies if you're unsatisfied with the product you've purchased or if you've changed your mind.
If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund or exchange.

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

To return an item, please notify us in writing, either by email or post to Martelo and Mo, Unit M, Windyridge Farm, Hertford, Hertfordshire, SG14 2HZ. We will do our best to respond within 48 hours to confirm your refund.

Any item not in its original condition, damaged or returned more than 30 days after delivery will only qualify for a partial refund.

If you request a refund which is approved, we will credit the cost of your item, excluding the cost of delivery.

We only replace items that are damaged.


We use high-quality British wood with beautiful variations in grain, colour, knots and other character markings. We do not accept returns or refunds based on natural variations in our material. Wood is a natural material that can change across its dimension depending on moisture due to changing temperatures and humidity. We work with wood that has been dried to the correct moisture content, but sometimes warpage, shrinkage and dimensions changes can still occur, especially when the furniture is shipped to climates different from where it was made. We cannot accept returns based on climatic differences; addressing moisture issues will usually resolve the issue.


We take exceptional care to crate and pack our work in a way that prevents any damage in transit. Upon delivery of your goods, it is your responsibility to examine each item, and any damaged goods should not be signed for. Should your goods not arrive in perfect condition, please contact us within 48 hours with a photograph of the item and its packaging. A team member will advise on the best solution, including return or repair options.


After this time, Martelo and Mo cannot be held responsible for no longer goods in our care.
