At Martelo and Mo, all our furniture and home decor items are handcrafted in our Hertford workshop, allowing us to craft each piece with exceptional care and precision. Please take a moment to review our shipping details below:
Lead Times

Made-to-Order Furniture Items: The production lead time is indicated on the product page. If you have specific delivery requirements or want an estimated timeline, please get in touch with us. We aim to dispatch UK orders within 7–10 working days after completion of production.

In-Stock Items: Some items are available for quicker delivery, as marked on their product pages. You can choose a 48-hour delivery service or next-day delivery for in-stock home decor items. In-stock medium and large furniture pieces will be packed, scheduled and delivered to you within 2 weeks.
Note: When ordering multiple items, the longest lead time will apply to the entire order unless otherwise arranged.
UK Delivery
Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, item size, weight, and value.
Options include:

Courier: Parcel Force or DHL courier service for small and medium items.

1-Man Doorstep Delivery: The driver will deliver items to your doorstep only.

2-Man Delivery & Installation: Includes delivery to a room of choice, unwrapping, and assembly of one furniture piece. Additional assembly services are available upon request for an extra fee.
Scotland & Northern Ireland: Due to their longer distances from our workshop, delivery costs differ from those in England and Wales. These costs reflect actual courier fees with no added surcharges.
Access and Delivery

The customer is responsible for ensuring the purchased items will fit through all access points, including doorways, staircases, and the intended area of use.

UK Delivery Process:

You will receive a confirmation email or call to schedule your delivery, including AM/PM slots for 2-man services.

Items must be accepted upon the first delivery attempt. If delivery fails due to customer non-compliance, additional charges may apply.
Ownership and Responsibility

Goods are the customer’s responsibility once delivery is attempted. Martelo and Mo retain ownership until the order is paid in full.

Orders cannot be altered once production has begun.
International Shipping

We ship globally, excluding UK VAT for all customers outside the UK. Please note that local taxes, duties, and fees may apply and are the customer’s responsibility upon arrival.

Shipping costs for smaller items are calculated at checkout. Contact us for a tailored quote for medium and larger furniture orders or special requests.
Key Information:

Orders to the EU may require crating to ensure safe delivery. Crating costs will be included in your shipping quote. The customer is responsible for disposing of the packaging.
Shipping price estimates charged in GBP:
- Accessories: €8–17
- Small furniture: €30–70
- Medium furniture: €70–120

Large furniture: €120–330
Crating is also necessary for medium and large items when shipping to the USA and Canada. We provide full insurance for goods in transit.
Shipping price estimates charged in GBP for New York ZIP codes (add 20% for other states):
- Accessories: $50–100
- Small furniture: $100–200
- Medium furniture: $200–300
- Large furniture: $400–1000
Oversized furniture is shipped with extra care to prevent damage. Two-person delivery and assembly services are not available for international orders.
